How to Reset a Password on iPad

1. Go to Settings > [your name] > Password & Security.
2. Tap Change Password.
3. Enter your current password, then tap Next.
4. Enter your new password, then tap Next.
5. Tap Done.

How to Reset a Locked iPad

1. Force restart your iPad. Press and hold the Power button and the Volume down button at the same time until you see the Apple logo.
2. Enter Recovery Mode. Connect your iPad to your computer while holding down the Power button and the Volume down button. When you see the Apple logo, release the Power button but keep holding the Volume down button.
3. Restore your iPad. In iTunes, click the Restore button.

To remove split screen on your iPad, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and tap the X button in the middle of the bar.

To delete an app on your iPad, tap and hold its icon until it wiggles. Tap the X button that appears, then tap Delete.

To record your screen on iPad, swipe down from the top right corner of your screen to open the Control Center. Tap the Screen Recording button, then tap the red record button to start recording. You can stop recording by tapping the red record button again.

To put the keyboard back to normal on an iPad, tap the 123 key at the bottom left of the keyboard, then tap the ABC key.

To power down an iPad, press and hold the top button until the slider appears. Slide the slider to power off.

To mirror your iPhone to your iPad, open the Control Center on your iPhone, tap Screen Mirroring, and select your iPad’s name.

To make a call from your iPad, open the Phone app, tap the keypad, enter the phone number, and tap the Call button.

How to know what iPad you have

1. Look at the model number. It’s located on the back of the iPad, near the bottom.
2. Check the Settings app. Go to Settings > General > About. The model number is listed under Model.
3. Use a third-party app. There are a number of apps available that can identify your iPad model.
