To customize your iPad home screen with widgets, open the Settings

app and tap Home Screen & Dock: Tap Widget Library and select the widgets you want to add. Drag and drop the widgets to the desired location on your home screen.

How to Add Widgets on iPad

Step 1: Open the Today View

1. Swipe down from the top of your screen to open the Today View.
2. If you don’t see the Today View, swipe down twice from the top of your screen.

Step 2: Tap the Edit button

1. In the Today View, tap the Edit button in the top left corner.

Step 3: Add a widget

1. Tap the + button in the top right corner.
2. Scroll through the list of widgets and tap the one you want to add.
3. Drag the widget to the desired location on the Today View.
4. Tap Done.

Step 4: Customize your widgets

1. Tap the widget to open its settings.
2. You can change the widget’s size, color, and other settings.
3. Tap Done to save your changes.

Step 5: Remove a widget

1. Tap and hold the widget until it starts to wiggle.
2. Tap the X button that appears in the top left corner of the widget.
3. Tap Remove.

You can add up to 10 widgets to the Today View.
You can rearrange the order of your widgets by dragging them around.
You can hide widgets that you don’t use by tapping the Edit button and then tapping the Hide button next to the widget.
You can access the Today View from any app by swiping down from the top of your screen.
