iPads are powerful devices that hold a lot of personal information. It’s important to keep your iPad secure by changing your password regularly. Changing your iPad password is easy and only takes a few minutes.
How to Change iPad Password
Step 1: Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode if your iPad doesn’t have Face ID).
Step 2: Enter your current password.
Step 3: Tap Change Password:
Step 4: Enter your new password twice.
Step 5: Tap Done:
How to Change iPad Password
Step 1: Open the Settings app.
On your iPad, tap the Settings app icon.
Step 2: Tap Touch ID & Passcode.
Under the Touch ID & Passcode section, tap Change Passcode.
Step 3: Enter your current passcode.
Enter your current passcode to continue.
Step 4: Enter your new passcode.
Enter your new passcode twice to confirm it.
Step 5: Tap Done.
Your new passcode has been saved.
You can now use your new passcode to unlock your iPad.
Additional Tips
- If you forget your passcode, you can reset it by restoring your iPad to factory settings.
