Step 1: Gather your tools and materials:
You will need:
A Phillips head screwdriver
A Torx T5 screwdriver
A spudger
A lint-free cloth
A new iPad battery
Step 2: Power down your iPad:
To do this, hold down the Power button and the Home button at the same time until you see the Apple logo.
Step 3: Locate the battery compartment:
The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the iPad. It is covered by a small, round sticker.
