How to Turn Off iPad Without Power Button
Step 1: Press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button at the same time.
Step 2: Keep holding both buttons until you see the Apple logo.
Step 3: Release both buttons.
Your iPad will now be turned off.
How to Turn Off iPad Without Power Button
Step 1: Press and hold the Volume Down button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.
You will see the power slider appear on the screen.
Step 2: Slide the power slider to the right to turn off your iPad.
Your iPad will turn off and the Apple logo will appear.
Step 3: To turn on your iPad, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until you see the Apple logo.
Your iPad will start up and you will be able to use it as usual.
Additional Tips
- If your iPad is frozen, you can force restart it by pressing and holding the Volume Down button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time for about 10 seconds.
- If your iPad is not responding, you can try connecting it to a power source and then pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button for about 10 seconds.
