If your iPad volume buttons are not working, you can use the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Check if the buttons are dirty. Clean the buttons with a soft, dry cloth.
2. Restart your iPad. Press and hold the Power button until you see the Slide to Power Off slider. Slide the slider to turn off your iPad. Wait a few seconds, then press and hold the Power button again until you see the Apple logo.
3. Update your iPad’s software. Go to Settings > General > Software Update and tap Download and Install.
4. Reset your iPad’s settings. Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings. This will erase all of your settings, but it will not delete your data.
5. Restore your iPad. If none of the above steps work, you can restore your iPad to factory settings. This will erase all of your data, so make sure to back up your iPad before you do this.
