To cast from your iPad to your TV, open the app you want to watch on your iPad and tap the AirPlay icon. Select your TV from the list of devices and the content will start playing on your TV.

To change your passcode on your iPad, go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > Change Passcode. Enter your current passcode, then create a new passcode and enter it again to confirm.

To change your name on your iPad, go to Settings > Name > Name and enter your new name.

To clear your history on your iPad, open the Settings app and tap Safari. Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data. Tap Clear History and Data to confirm.

To close an app on your iPad, double-click the Home button and then swipe up on the app’s card.

To close a tab on your iPad, tap and hold the tab until it starts to wiggle, then tap the X button that appears.

How to connect Apple Pencil to iPad without plugging in

1. Place the Apple Pencil near the top of the iPad.
2. The iPad will display a notification.
3. Tap Connect to pair the Apple Pencil.

To hard restart your iPad, press and hold the power button and the top volume button at the same time for about 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
