To stop messages from going to your iPad, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap Messages, and then tap Text Message Forwarding. Toggle off the switch next to your iPad’s name.
To replace an iPad screen, you will need a Phillips 000 screwdriver, a suction cup, a spudger, and a new iPad screen. First, power down the iPad and disconnect it from all power sources.
