How to Scan on iPad
Step 1: Open the Notes app.
Step 2: Tap the + button in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Tap the Scan Document button.
Step 4: Center the document you want to scan in the viewfinder.
Step 5: Tap the Scan button.
Step 6: Tap the Save button to save the scanned document to your Notes app.
How to Scan on iPad
Step 1: Prepare your iPad
1. Make sure your iPad is running the latest version of iOS.
2. If you’re using a cellular iPad, make sure you’re connected to a Wi-Fi network.
3. Open the Notes app.
Step 2: Scan a document
1. Tap the + button in the top right corner of the Notes app.
2. Tap the Scan Document button.
3. Place the document you want to scan in front of the iPad’s camera.
4. Tap the Scan button.
5. The document will be saved as a PDF file in the Notes app.
Step 3: Scan a business card
1. Tap the + button in the top right corner of the Notes app.
2. Tap the Scan Document button.
3. Hold the business card in front of the iPad’s camera.
4. Tap the Scan button.
5. The business card will be saved as a contact in the Contacts app.
Step 4: Scan a QR code
1. Open the Camera app.
2. Point the camera at the QR code.
3. The QR code will be automatically scanned and the corresponding website will be opened in Safari.
Step 5: Share a scanned document
1. Open the Notes app.
2. Tap the scanned document.
3. Tap the Share button.
4. Select how you want to share the document.
Additional tips
To scan a document in landscape mode, rotate your iPad to the left or right.
To adjust the brightness of the scanned document, tap the Brightness button in the Notes app.
To remove the background from a scanned document, tap the Background button in the Notes app.
To save a scanned document as a JPEG file, tap the Export button in the Notes app and select JPEG.
