How to Screen Record iPad
1. Open the Control Center by swiping down from the top right corner of your screen.
2. Tap the Screen Recording button (it looks like a circle with a dot inside).
3. If you want to record audio from your microphone, tap the Microphone button.
4. Tap the Start Recording button.
5. To stop recording, tap the Stop Recording button in the Control Center.
6. Your screen recording will be saved in the Photos app.
How to Screen Record on iPad
Step 1: Open the Control Center
1. Swipe down from the top right corner of your iPad screen.
2. If you have an iPad with Face ID, swipe down from the top left corner of your screen.
Step 2: Tap the Screen Recording button
The Screen Recording button is a round button with a white dot inside of a black circle. It is located in the upper-left corner of the Control Center.
Step 3: Select the audio source
You can choose to record audio from your iPad’s microphone, or from both the microphone and the built-in speakers. To select the audio source, tap the Microphone button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 4: Tap Start Recording
A red recording indicator will appear at the top of your screen. This indicates that your screen recording is in progress.
Step 5: Stop the recording
To stop the recording, tap the Stop button in the upper-left corner of the screen.
Your screen recording will be saved to the Camera Roll app on your iPad.
Tips
To record a specific portion of your screen, tap and hold the Screen Recording button in the Control Center. Then, drag the blue bar to select the area of the screen you want to record.
To take a screenshot during a screen recording, tap the Screenshot button in the upper-left corner of the screen.
To edit a screen recording, open the Camera Roll app and tap on the screen recording. Then, tap the Edit button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
To share a screen recording, open the Camera Roll app and tap on the screen recording. Then, tap the Share button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
